Job Overview

• Travel assignment in Wausau, Wisconsin
• Start date: ASAP
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed hours: 40 per week

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• May need to work early or late depending on case volume and acuity
• On-call requirements include 1 night per week, 1 weekend per month, and 1 backup shift per week
• 30-minute response time for call
• Every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation
• May be required to float to all Central Aspirus locations if needed

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• CST or NBSTSA or NCCT
• CVOR Technologist (2 years of experience)
• CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment

Key Skills and Responsibilities

• Set up operative suites and ensure supplies are available in case carts
• Scrub surgical cases across a variety of specialties
• Turn over rooms for multiple procedures throughout the day
• Cardiac/thoracic experience required
• Thoracic robot experience required
• Must be flexible, resilient, able to manage change well, and willing to complete downtime tasks

• Uses Epic charting
• Scrub colors: any color
• Flu season policy requires masking at all times if flu and COVID vaccination is declined
