Schedule Notes

Local candidates must live within 50 miles.
The contractor is required to work 1–2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed.
Orientation is 16 hours.

Unit Overview

Floats between Med Surg and Stepdown.
Patient mix includes med surg and stepdown patients.
Typical ratios:
- Days/Evenings: 1:4/5
- Nights: 1:6
Scrub colors: black or navy.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
Float (3 years of experience)
Float experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License
Experience administering nitro, heparin, and amiodarone including titrates
Stepdown experience
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

Neurology care experience.
Oncology care experience.
Professional reference from within the last 24 months.
