Job Opportunity: Urgent Care LVN / LPN
Location: Playa Vista, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule
- Monday-Friday: 11:30 AM – 10:00 PM
- Saturday-Sunday: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Rotating schedule with every other weekend and some holidays required
Required Qualifications
- Valid LPN / LVN license in California
- Minimum 2 years of Urgent Care experience, including experience within the last year
- Emergency Department (ED) experience
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Phlebotomy certification
- IV certification
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room
Additional Information
- First-time travelers accepted
- Weekend and holiday work required
- No on-call duties
- Floating within scope of practice to meet facility needs may be required
- Local candidates accepted within a 50-minute commute
- Pending licenses are not accepted
- No RTO requests allowed in the first 2 weeks of assignment
Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year confirming ability to meet essential job functions
- Fit mask test within 1 year (updated annually)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (with additional requirements if history of positive TB)
- Required vaccinations: MMR (Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella), Hepatitis B, Varicella, and seasonal flu vaccine (mandatory during flu season)
- Drug screening panel within 1 year (excluding marijuana/THC)
- Background check including 7-year criminal history and education verification
- Two professional references required (one must be supervisory)
