Job Opportunity: Urgent Care LVN / LPN

Location: Playa Vista, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• Monday-Friday: 11:30 AM – 10:00 PM
• Saturday-Sunday: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Rotating schedule with every other weekend and some holidays required

Required Qualifications

• Valid LPN / LVN license in California
• Minimum 2 years of Urgent Care experience, including experience within the last year
• Emergency Department (ED) experience
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Phlebotomy certification
• IV certification
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room

Additional Information

• First-time travelers accepted
• Weekend and holiday work required
• No on-call duties
• Floating within scope of practice to meet facility needs may be required
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-minute commute
• Pending licenses are not accepted
• No RTO requests allowed in the first 2 weeks of assignment

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year confirming ability to meet essential job functions
• Fit mask test within 1 year (updated annually)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (with additional requirements if history of positive TB)
• Required vaccinations: MMR (Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella), Hepatitis B, Varicella, and seasonal flu vaccine (mandatory during flu season)
• Drug screening panel within 1 year (excluding marijuana/THC)
• Background check including 7-year criminal history and education verification
• Two professional references required (one must be supervisory)
