Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Location: Green Bay, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse (Medical Surgical / LTAC / Rehab)
Shift: 3x12 hour night shifts
Weekends: Every other weekend required
Patient Ratio: 1:8-10
Start Date: ASAP (backfill position)
Requested Time Off: Subject to manager approval

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of experience in Medical Surgical nursing within the last year
Experience in Rehabilitation setting
Experience in Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting
Minimum 1 year of experience in Rehab, LTAC, or Medical Surgical nursing
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Additional Requirements

Government-issued photo ID
Background checks including 7-year work/living history, sex offender registry, and federal exclusions (updated annually)
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
Immunization or titer proof for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
9-panel drug screen within 1 year
Seasonal flu vaccination or declination during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
Respirator medical clearance (annual)
Professional references:
- 2 for travel, allied, or per diem acute care
- 1 for per diem non-acute care
Annual competency exams and skills checklist as applicable
