Job Opportunity: X-Ray Tech

Location: Wooster, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 10 weeks

Schedule

• Primarily 2 twelve-hour day shifts (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM) and 2 eight-hour day shifts (11:30 AM – 8:00 PM) per week
• 8-hour shifts scheduled during the weeks of June 8th and August 3rd, with an extra shift the week of August 3rd
• Schedule may change based on department needs

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in Ohio
• ARRT certification
• Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Prior travel experience as a Radiology Technologist or X-Ray Technician
• Experience specifically as an X-Ray Technician

Experience

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology

Additional Notes

• Physical exam does not need annual update if currently on assignment without break
• Latex allergy notification required to ensure availability of latex-free gloves
• Fingerprinting results are mailed and may take up to 30 days to process; facility will also conduct their own fingerprinting
• Modules must be completed before clearance to start; travelers with breaks over 6 months may need to repeat modules
• Traveler’s legal name must be used in onboarding system; name changes require notification to facility lead
• Background check must be updated if there is a break in service of 2 or more months

This position offers a 10-week travel contract as an X-Ray Tech with a variable day shift schedule in Wooster, Ohio. Candidates must meet all licensing, certification, immunization, and background requirements prior to starting.
