PACU Registered Nurse

Job Overview

  • Travel/contract role in San Francisco, California
  • Day shift, 5x8 hours
  • 40 hours per week
  • 13-week contract
  • Ability to float to other facilities
  • Completed references must be available at time of submission

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in California
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (3 years of experience)
  • PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
  • Must be able to work in pre-op and extended care units

Preferred Qualifications

  • CCRN or CPAN certification
  • 2 years of critical care experience

Clinical Skills / Experience

  • Airway management
  • Anesthesia recovery
  • Pain management knowledge

  • Current and updated resume with the last 7 years of work history
  • Two supervisory references
  • Unit-specific skills checklist
  • Work history verification covering 7 years
  • Explanation for any gaps of 30 days or more
