Job Overview

- Contract length: 17 weeks
- Schedule: Day/Evening, 24 hours per week, 12-hour shifts
- Shift times: 6:40 AM–7:10 PM
- Weekend requirement: Every Saturday and Sunday
- Call: No call
- Holiday coverage: If a holiday falls on a weekend, the traveler will work it
- Start dates: 9/14 or 9/21
- Schedule flexibility: May also consider Friday through Monday coverage in 3x12 or 4x12 formats
Required Qualifications
- Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- Completion of a surgical technologist program or two years of experience in a Surgical Technologist role
- 2 years of scrub experience
Clinical Expectations
- Must be able to work orthopedic, neuro, spine, and general cases
- No cardiac cases
Compliance / Onboarding
- Wisconsin caregiver screening and BID form are required
- Background check required
- E-Verify required
- Employment application required
- 2 clinical references within the last 3 years
- Skills checklist required annually
- Photo for badge required
- TB questionnaire required annually
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray required
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
- Hepatitis B documentation or declination required for direct patient care or potential blood/body fluid exposure
- Varicella documentation or approved exemption required
- MMR documentation or approved exemption required
- Drug screen required for clinical candidates
- Physical exam required by agency standard
- Fit mask completed onsite
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgement required
- State license verification required if applicable
