Job Overview

Travel/contract RN position in Columbia, South Carolina
13-week assignment
Day shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Every other weekend required
First-time travelers accepted
Local candidates accepted within the facility’s radius rule
Agency staff may be required to float to other qualified units or campuses as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina
Med Surg / Telemetry experience with 1 year of experience
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
IV starts
Blood product administration
Central line management
Peripheral line management
PICC line management
Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
Heparin protocols
Geriatric-focused care
Experience with Epic

Unit Details

Acute Care for the Elderly telemetry-capable unit
26 beds
Cares for hospitalized patients age 65 and older
Typical ratio: 1:5

Additional Notes

Pending license not accepted
RTO and block scheduling requests must be submitted with the application and are subject to facility approval at booking
Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
