Job Overview
- Travel/contract RN position in Saint Louis, Missouri
- 16-week assignment
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Patient ratio: 1:4–6
- Floating: within the service line
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend
- First-time travelers are not accepted
- Local candidates are not accepted within a 75-mile radius
- Block scheduling is not available
- On-call is not required
- RTO limit: no more than 7 days
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Missouri
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- IV skills
- Phlebotomy
- Must be able to pass a Relias EKG exam
- Dysrhythmia/management of dysrhythmias knowledge is required
- Government-issued ID
- Experience with Epic

Unit Notes
- GI/GU medical-surgical unit
- Common patient populations include ostomy, colon resection, colon cancer, bladder cancer, GU, and medical overflow
- Unit has centralized telemetry and prefers basic telemetry knowledge
- Common procedures include Foley care, continuous bladder irrigation, TURP care, and colorectal protocols
- Common drips include heparin, lidocaine, bicarbonate, bivalirudin, and amiodarone

- Epic familiarity is required
- Two professional references are required

- Unit-specific skills checklist is required
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Drug screen within 1 year of start
- TB screening required
