Obstetric Emergency Department Labor and Delivery

Overview

Travel/Contract RN role in Stockbridge, Georgia
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
36 hours per week
Contract length: 20 weeks
Patient population: neonates to adults
Unit has 6 rooms with an average daily census of 15
Ratio: 1:3

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Georgia
Labor and Delivery (3 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
AWHONN Intermediate
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Ability to complete vaginal exams autonomously
Circulate and Triage experience
Experience with Epic

Schedule and Assignment Details

Every other weekend
One 12-hour call shift per schedule
Floating within service line to L&D, APU, and OR
Up to 3 call outs allowed in a 13-week period
RTO maximum: 7 days
Must work major holidays as assigned based on the holiday schedule

Additional Notes

First-time travelers are accepted if they meet the experience requirement
Scrubs are provided by the facility
Locals accepted
Full compliance is required to start on time
