Overview
- Travel/contract role in La Jolla, California
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:30
- 13-week contract
- Start dates: 8/31 or 9/14
- Perinatal Float Pool assignment rotating among L&D, Postpartum, and LDRP units
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Post Partum experience
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or National Health Care Provider Solutions or Military Training Network or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or National Health Care Provider Solutions or Military Training Network or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
- Demonstrated competency in both Labor & Delivery and Postpartum
- Cross-training and rotation across all three perinatal units
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
- Color blind testing
- Competency exam
- Must be available for one additional overtime shift every 2 weeks
- No requested time off in the first 3 weeks

- Manager provides at least 2 weeks’ notice for schedule changes
