Overview
- Location: Portland, Oregon
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Day, 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
- Hours per week: 36
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Unit/setting: Pediatric Float Pool
- Float scope: Must float to PICU and NICU; floating is required
- Coverage: Every other weekend
- Ratio: 1–2:4
- Opening timing: Winter needs
- Holiday availability: Must be available to work at least 2 of the 3 major winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oregon
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Critical Care Float experience within the last year
- 1 year of Critical Care Float experience
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience
- Experience with Epic

- Pediatric Float Pool traveler supporting pediatric patients across acute, intermediate, oncology, neonatal, and critical care needs
- May be floated to:
- Pediatric Acute Care Surgical (PACS)
- Pediatric Acute Care Medical (PACM)
- Pediatric Intermediate Care (PIMC)
- Pediatric Oncology (Hem/Onc)
- Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU)
- Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
