Overview

• Travel/contract RN role in Saint Louis, Missouri
• Day shift: 4x10s, 6:15 AM to 4:45 PM
• 13-week contract
• Will float within the service line
• On-call is required as needed
• Weekend coverage is required per call policy
• First-timers are accepted only if they have more than 2 years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma Facility
• Locals are not accepted
• Pending license is accepted
• BSN is preferred
• Scrub skillset is highly preferred for day shift

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• CVOR (2 years of experience)
• CVOR experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience circulating cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases
• Scrub experience
• Experience with vascular procedures (open and endovascular)
• Experience with transplant procedures (liver, kidney, pancreas)
• Experience with Whipple procedures (pancreatic procedures)

Specialty / Case Mix

• Cardiac and thoracic cases primarily
• Vascular open and endovascular procedures
• Transplant cases: liver, kidney, pancreas
• Whipples pancreatic procedures

Facility

• Short Term Acute Care
• Teaching / Level Trauma
• 1,266 staffed beds

Additional Notes

• RTO: no more than 7 days
• Charting system: EPIC
