Shift: Evening (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36 (3 shifts x 12 hours)

Job Description
- Perform CT imaging with experience in abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CT angiography (CTAs), and multiplanar reconstruction.
- Work settings include outpatient, inpatient, emergency room, adult ICU, and Level 2 trauma center.
- Daily caseload approximately 110 patients.
- On-call and holiday rotation required.
- Floating to other facilities is not required.
- First-time travel techs accepted.
- Locals are accepted.
- Block scheduling and return-to-office restrictions are at manager’s discretion.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Virginia (temporary license acceptable if issued by start date).
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year.
- ARRT certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA provider card required).
- Experience in outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Skills in IV starts, PACS, and contrast administration.

Certifications & Competencies
- BLS (AHA provider card, no instructor cards).
- Additional certifications may be required depending on unit assignment (verify with job description).

- Color blindness testing required for all clinical candidates.
Health & Safety Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year prior to start.
- Fit mask (N95) with documentation stating N95 and passed fit test, updated annually.
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray per facility policy.
- Annual TB questionnaire if history of positive TB.
- Immunizations or immunity documentation required for:
- Measles (Rubeola)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (must have first booster prior to start if declining series)
- Varicella
- Drug screening within 30 days prior to start, including specific panels (amphetamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, cocaine, methadone, methamphetamines, opiates, oxycodone, PCP).
- Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (9/1 – 3/31) or approved medical/religious exemption.
- COVID vaccination documentation required but vaccine not mandatory; declination allowed.
Background & Documentation
- Comprehensive background check required within 1 year prior to start, including criminal, education, and DMV records as applicable.
- Employment application and work history verification covering at least 2 years required.
- Two professional references required: one from current year and one within last 2 years, from supervisors or equivalent.
- Facility-specific documents including code of conduct, confidentiality agreement, Epic experience screening, orientation packet, and job description must be completed prior to start.
- Primary source verification of licenses and certifications required.

- On-call and holiday rotation are mandatory.
- Floating to sister facilities is not required.
- Block scheduling and return-to-office policies are flexible and subject to manager discretion.
- Candidates can renew BLS onsite if needed (responsible for fees and scheduling).
- Temporary VA license accepted only if working at specified hospitals; otherwise, permanent license required at start.
This position is ideal for CT Technologists with at least 1 year of experience seeking a travel contract in a Level II trauma center environment with a high-volume caseload and varied clinical settings.
