Valid RN license in Illinois
Minimum 2 years of Trauma ICU nursing experience, with at least 1 year within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Certifications:
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification

Background checks covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years, updated annually
EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days prior to start
Education verification (degree verification required)
Illinois-specific criminal and offender registry searches within 30 days prior to start
Fingerprinting through Illinois Health Care Worker Registry (must be completed in Illinois 3 business days prior to start)
Competency exam required for clinical candidates
Photo for badge (color, mid-shoulders up, plain background) due before start
Code of Conduct acknowledgment within 7 days of contract signing
Parking permit form to be completed within 7 days of contract signing (if applicable)

Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by appropriate healthcare provider, confirming good health and ability to perform job functions
Fit mask test required (specific mask types accepted) for new contracts
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
TB questionnaire updated annually
Immunizations or documented immunity required for:
- Measles (Rubeola)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (includes amphetamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, cocaine, methadone, methaqualone, opiates, phencyclidine, propoxyphene)
Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required annually by November 30

Guaranteed hours subject to client call-offs up to 36 hours per 13-week assignment without pay
Scrub color: Any solid color allowed
No radius restrictions for local candidates
Return to office restrictions ideally no more than 5 days

This position is ideal for experienced ICU RNs seeking a night shift travel contract in a Level I trauma center with a trauma/burn focus.
