Outpatient Clinic Cardiology

Job Overview

• Travel/contract RN role in Seattle, Washington
• 32-week assignment
• Day shift: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted
• No weekend, on-call, or floating requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• 1 year of RN experience in an outpatient cardiology clinic and triage setting

Key Skills

• Vital signs and patient history/allergy assessment
• Arrhythmia interpretation
• Cardiac arrest/CPR response
• Chest pain and hypertension assessment
• AED use
• Oxygen administration
• Telephone triage
• Patient education on lifestyle and medication adherence
• Quality improvement collaboration

Clinical Setting

• Heart and vascular clinic
• Patient population includes cardiology patients preparing for or recovering from procedures such as cardiac catheterization, PCI/stent placement, EP procedures, structural heart procedures, cardioversions, and vascular/interventional studies
• Candidates should be prepared to escalate urgent symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, syncope, stroke-like symptoms, uncontrolled bleeding, unstable vitals, or vascular access complications

• EPIC experience required
