Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: La Plata, Maryland
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 13 weeks; longer contracts up to 20-26 weeks considered)

Job Details

• Shift: Monday to Friday, 5x8 hour shifts (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM)
• Holidays: Required as scheduled
• Weekends: No weekends required
• Floating: Not required
• On-Call: Not required
• Start Date: Accepting start dates from January 20, 2026, or ASAP

Experience Requirements

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (CT Technologist)
• Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required; first-time travelers accepted

Licenses & Certifications Required

• Maryland State Licensure
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only
• ARRT-R (Radiologic Technologist) required
• ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) preferred

Equipment & Systems

• Siemens scanners
• PACS system for imaging upload
• Charting with EPIC and PACS

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• I9 or Attestation
• Government Issued Photo ID
• Background checks including 7-year criminal search, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, Education Verification
• Maryland State Exclusions List check
• Physical exam within 1 year including Latex Screen
• Fit Test for 3M N95 1860 respirator (updated annually)
• Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray (updated annually)
• Immunizations:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (positive titer or declination accepted, series not accepted)
  • Varicella
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (if working with children)
• Negative drug screen (9 or 10 panel including Fentanyl) within 30-45 days prior to start
• Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (October to March)
• COVID vaccine not required for this location but exemptions accepted if required

Additional Requirements

• Two supervisory references within 1 year of start
• Employment application/resume completed within 30 days of start
• Verification of previous 5 years of employment history (attestation accepted if necessary)
• Passport/badge style photo with solid white/beige background
• Completion of facility-specific agreements and confidentiality statements prior to start
• Competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests as applicable

Summary

This is a travel contract position for a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience in Radiology/Cardiology. The role requires Maryland licensure and specific certifications (BLS, ARRT-R, ARRT-CT preferred). The position offers evening shifts Monday through Friday with no weekends or on-call duties.
