Job Opportunity: Radiology X-Ray Tech (Travel/Contract)
Location: Seattle, Washington

Position Details
- Shift: 3x12 hour night shifts (likely 19:30 – 08:00)
- Days: Combination of Tuesday – Thursday or Wednesday – Friday
- On-call: Required once a month on Fridays for 25 hours (07:00 – 08:00 next day)
- Guaranteed Hours: Yes
- Floating: No floating to sister facilities required
- Block Schedule: Accommodated as per shift details
- Locals Accepted: Yes

Experience Requirements
- Minimum Specialty Experience: 1 year (highest requirement)
- Prior Travel Experience: Not required
Clinical Requirements
- Experience working with Neonates, Infants, and Pediatrics
- Experience in Inpatient, Operating Room, NICU, and PICU settings
- Experience with PACS, Portables, and C-Arm
- Experience with imaging of Extremities, Abdomen, Spine, Head, Chest/Thorax, Musculoskeletal, Upper & Lower Extremities
- Experience with Surgery/C-Arm procedures
- Primary responsibilities in the Operating Room with secondary expectations in Inpatient/Outpatient/Emergency Departments
Certifications & Licenses
- Required:
- BLS (AHA Provider only)
- ARRT Certification
- Washington State Radiologic Technologist License (WA Rad Tech)
- Pending State License: Accepted
- Additional Certifications:
- ACLS, PALS, NRP, CHEMO certifications may be relevant for other roles but not explicitly required for this tech position
- Tech Certification Verification: Primary source online verification required

Orientation & Scheduling Notes
- No return to origin (RTO) within first two weeks due to orientation
- Holiday scheduling options: unpaid time off, shift swapping within the same week, or working an open holiday shift if possible
Background & Compliance Requirements
- 7-year criminal background check required (or within past year if all criteria met)
- Various background checks including FACIS, county civil, state and national criminal, sex offender, and sanction searches
- Drug screening: 12-panel drug test within one year of start, covering marijuana, cocaine, amphetamines, opiates, PCP, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, methadone
- State-specific searches: Washington State Patrol (WSP/WATCH) search required within 12 months and rerun every 2 years
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year
- Fit mask test (N95 or CAPR) valid for entire assignment length; on-site fit testing not allowed
- Immunizations or titers required for:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
- TB screening (Qgold/Tspot or 2 PPDs) with annual questionnaire
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella
- Hepatitis B (vaccine series, positive titer, or declination)
- Varicella (titer or 2 vaccines)
- Seasonal flu vaccine or declination required during flu season (Oct-Mar)
- COVID vaccine strongly recommended but not required
- Respirator medical clearance annually required for respirator users
Competency & Testing Requirements
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (pediatric focus)
- Competency Exam with minimum 80% score
- Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam required for PICU, CICU, NICU, and ER (not specifically required for this tech role)
- Skills checklists as applicable
Facility Specifics
- Photo for badge required on blue background within 72 hours of contract signing
- Modules (approx. 8 hours) must be completed prior to start, including Epic training for inpatient nurses
- Math test required onsite for RNs and MAs (not pass/fail)
- Meal waiver agreement available if waiving second meal period
- Parking available with variable cost; public transportation encouraged
