Job Summary: Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Santa Rosa, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (8 AM - 5 PM)
- Travel Requirement: Locals accepted within 50 miles

Background & Compliance Requirements
- 7-year background check including SSN trace, county searches, sex offender search, education verification, motor vehicle report (for driving positions), and FACIS Level 3 screening
- Education verification required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Drug screening: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months (excluding marijuana/cannabinoids due to CA law)
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask test within 1 year, renewed annually (with accommodations for religious exemptions or facial hair)
- Immunizations and health screenings required:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 90 days, renewed annually
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) immunity or vaccination
- Hepatitis B vaccination or declination
- Varicella immunity or vaccination
- Seasonal flu vaccination during flu season (Nov 1 - Apr 30) or signed declination
- Respiratory safety clearance required annually
- References: 2 professional references within 3 years (Aya requirement, not client)
- Full 7 years of work history required on application with no gaps
Certifications (as applicable)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA or ARC only
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - AHA or ARC only
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - AHA/AAP only, must be instructor or advanced provider course
- CCRN (Critical Care RN)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - valid for 4 years
- EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) - typically for Labor & Delivery
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)
- NIH Stroke Certification (verify by position)
- Other certifications as required by position
