Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech (Travel/Contract)
Location: Greenwich, Connecticut

Job Details
- Position: Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech
- Schedule: 4 shifts per week, 9.5 hours each (7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, may vary)
- Call and weekend shifts required as needed
- 30-minute callback and travel time expected
- Scrubs provided

Experience & Licensure Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Cath Lab required
- IR experience preferred
- Must hold a current Radiologic Technologist (RT) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Certifications (AHA or ARC accepted)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) recommended/required depending on unit
- Other certifications may be required based on unit assignment (e.g., PALS, NRP, TNCC)
Background & Compliance Requirements
- 7-year criminal background check required within 12 months prior to start, updated annually
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start
- Education verification and foreign equivalency evaluation (if applicable)
- State license primary source verification required within 30 days of start
- Employment application with 7-year work history and no gaps greater than 90 days
- Work history verification for last 7 years required
- Attestation of prior radiation exposure required for this role
Health & Safety Requirements
- Physical exam within 12 months of start
- Fit mask test within 12 months of start, updated annually (clean shaven required)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray documentation required
- Annual TB questionnaire
- Required immunizations or proof of immunity:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (or declination)
- Varicella
- 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season
- COVID vaccination series preferred
Competency & Training Requirements
- Medication/Pharmacology competency exam required within 12 months of start (minimum 85% score)
- Color blind testing required for all candidates starting on or after 8/2/2024 (minimum 80% score)
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam may be required depending on unit
- Facility-specific training modules and attestations may be required, including but not limited to:
- Stroke Education
- CLABSI Prevention
