Location: Cartersville, Georgia
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Details

Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Weekend Schedule: Every Other Weekend
Call: None
Floating: Within facility/scope of practice as needed
Minimum Experience: 1 year (Unit accepts first-time travelers)
Prior travel experience: Not required
Holiday Work: Required to work major holidays if they fall during assignment (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day)
Orientation: Number of non-billable orientation hours depends on contract length (e.g., 8 hours for 8 weeks)
Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; delays may push start by 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
Locals accepted at same rate

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia
Minimum of 1 year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience within the last year
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Notes

Floating assignments may be required within the facility and scope of practice
Candidates must review and sign facility-specific policies such as Code of Conduct and Dress/Professional Appearance Policy prior to start
Facility requires full compliance with all documentation and credentialing to ensure timely start

This position is suitable for Registered Nurses with at least 1 year of experience in the specialty, including first-time travel nurses. Prior travel experience is not required.
