Location: Reno, Nevada
Employment Type: Open Per Diem
Shift: 10-hour day shift (6:30 AM – 4:30 PM) with option to pick up call shifts
Job Description
- Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
- Per diem position with flexible scheduling options
Required Qualifications
Licensure & Certifications
- Current RN license verified through Nursys
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
Experience
- Must meet RN CVOR specialty experience requirements (years of experience not explicitly stated)
Health & Immunizations
- COVID-19 vaccination series plus booster or completed declination
- Proof of MMR vaccination (2 doses at least 28 days apart) or positive titer
- Hepatitis B immunization series, immune titer, or declination accepted
- Annual Influenza vaccine or declination (required November 1 – March 31)
- Tuberculosis (TB) test within one year of start date
- Varicella vaccination proof (2 doses at least 28 days apart) or positive titer
- Tdap vaccination (declination not accepted in some regions)
- If positive PPD test, a negative chest X-ray within 3 months is required
- Annual respirator fit test (3M 1860(s) mask or equivalent) may be required prior to start
Other Professional Requirements

- Employment eligibility verification (Form I-9 or agency attestation)
- Driver’s license, state ID, or passport for identification
- Completion of specialty and core competencies exams with a minimum score of 80% (can be completed via Relias or similar platforms)
- Completion of skills checklist and orientation packet including signed job description (current within the year)
- Prime OIG and SAM/EPLS exclusion checks
- Annual color-blind test (Relias accepted)

- Up-to-date resume reflecting recent work history
- Two professional references, including at least one from a manager or direct supervisor
