Radiology Technician - Midnight Shift

Location: Traverse City, Michigan
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Midnight technologist role supporting portable imaging, OR cases, and inpatient procedures.
• Shift Schedule:

  • Week 1: 30 hours total

    • Wednesday & Thursday: 11:00 PM – 9:00 AM
    • Sunday: 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM
  • Week 2: 40 hours total

    • Wednesday & Thursday: 11:00 PM – 9:00 AM
    • Friday & Saturday: 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Weekend work every other weekend.
• Holidays: Scheduled depending on holiday occurrence.
• On-call: Yes, 2 to 3 times per month on rotation including 1 weekend day.
• No guaranteed hours; overtime paid after 40 hours.
• Scrubs color: Caribbean blue.

Required Qualifications

• Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience within the last year.
• Active ARRT certification.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or American Red Cross accepted).
• Proof of immunizations and health requirements including:

  • MMR (vaccination or positive titer)
  • Influenza vaccine (required November 1 through April 30; no declinations accepted except approved medical/religious exemptions)
  • TB test (negative T-spot or QuantiFERON within last 6 months, or 2-step skin test; if positive, chest X-ray and screening questionnaire required)
  • Varicella (proof of vaccination or positive titer; history not accepted)
• Fit for Duty health statement completed within 1 year of start date.
• Valid Driver’s License or State ID.
• Social Security Card.
• Successful completion of core competency exams including OSHA and Joint Commission.
• Skill-specific competencies and self-assessment checklist.
• Negative drug screen within 90 days prior to start.
• Background checks and verifications including:

  • Criminal background check (7-year national, including aliases and sex offender database)
  • Education and employment verification (minimum 2 years)
  • OIG, OFAC, and National Sex Offender searches within 90 days prior to start
• Completed I-9 form and emergency contact form.
• Signed healthcare system agreement to ensure system access.

• Specialty: Radiology Technician
• Years of experience: Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience within the last year.
• No explicit requirement for prior travel experience.

Additional Notes

• On-call responsibilities and rotating weekend shifts require flexibility.
• Must be able to work overnight shifts consistently.
