Job Opportunity: CVOR OR RN - New Jersey

Position Overview

• Role: CVOR Operating Room Registered Nurse
• Specialty: Required to scrub Endovascular cases (specific skill set)
• Shift: 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• On-call: 2 shifts per six-week schedule; weekends as needed
• Holiday Coverage: Every other holiday; if off on a holiday, must work the day before or after. Must work an evening and a day shift, including winter and spring hallmark holidays.
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of Level 1 trauma experience
• Active New Jersey RN license
• BSN degree preferred
• Certifications: BLS and NIHSS required
• Fully COVID vaccinated with at least 1 booster
• Scrub and circulate experience in the OR
• Excellent attention to detail for patient safety and quality monitoring
• Strong organizational skills for coordinating care across the OR
• Flexibility required: no consecutive days or weeks off; must accommodate department needs

Additional Compliance and Documentation

• ACLS certification
• Background check and drug screen
• Educational and license verification
• Competency exams and skills checklist
• Various vaccinations including Hep B, Influenza, MMR, TdaP, Varicella
• Physical exam and health screenings (TB, COVID-19 vaccine plus booster)
• Agency credentials verification and confirmation of assignment
• Temporary staff confidentiality agreement
