Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Illinois
• OR - Operating Room (3 years of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Education

• BSN

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to assigned patients using the nursing process
• Complete patient assessments and develop care plans
• Implement and update nursing interventions and procedures
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation
• Support patient and staff safety by reporting or correcting hazards and incidents
• Prepare the operating room suite, including supplies, equipment, medications, and other needs
• Transport and position patients for procedures
• Assist the surgical team during procedures
• Transfer patients to PACU or the receiving unit and give handoff to the receiving RN
