Job Summary

Provides nursing care in a hospital setting for pediatric ICU patients with conditions ranging from simple to complex.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Oklahoma
  • PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
  • PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • PALS issued by American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • CVICU experience
  • NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience

Preferred Experience

  • Level 1 experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Care for an assigned group of patients
  • Document patient responses and changes in physician orders
  • Assist with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatment
  • Monitor patient physiological data and intervene as needed
  • Administer medications and manage intravenous infusions and blood products
  • Communicate care plans and discharge information to patients and families
  • Make referrals for patient care needs
  • Delegate tasks to support staff
