Job Summary

Provides nursing care in a hospital setting for pediatric ICU patients with conditions ranging from simple to complex.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oklahoma
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
CVICU experience
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience

Preferred Experience

Level 1 experience

Key Responsibilities

Care for an assigned group of patients
Document patient responses and changes in physician orders
Assist with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatment
Monitor patient physiological data and intervene as needed
Administer medications and manage intravenous infusions and blood products
Communicate care plans and discharge information to patients and families
Make referrals for patient care needs
Delegate tasks to support staff
