Pediatric Emergency Room RN

Overview

Travel assignment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
13-week contract
36 guaranteed hours per week
12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Weekend rotation: 2 weekends per month
Holiday rotation: every other holiday
Float scope: may be floated to sit with a patient, not to perform inpatient nursing duties

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Pediatrics ER - Emergency Room (1.5 years of experience)
Pediatrics ER - Emergency Room experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in a(n) Emergency Department setting
Experience with conscious or moderate sedation
Experience with Epic

Preferred

ACLS
TNCC
Level I Trauma experience
EPIC familiarity

Unit Details

Level 1, efficient fast-paced 50-bed ED
Sees 200-280 visits per day
Fast track area closes by 1:00 AM
