Assignment Type

Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts
• Shift time: 5:30 AM–6:00 PM
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
• Weekend rotation: up to every other weekend
• Holiday rotation: based on unit need

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• 1 year of Neurology experience
• Neurology experience within the last year
• 1 year of Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) or Stepdown ICU experience
• 1 completed travel contract

Preferred Experience

• Previous travel experience is preferred
• Experience with stroke and post-op back, spine, or cervical cases is required
• Experience with EPIC within the last year is strongly preferred

Unit / Patient Population

• Neurology unit with mostly post-stroke and post-op brain, neck, and spine patients
• Also sees trauma, TBI, and occasional medical patients
• Primary cases include stroke, post-op spinal and brain surgeries, EVD, neuro embolization, stents, post-TNK, and TBI

Work Expectations

• Float within skillset throughout the facility
• May float to other facilities within a 60-mile radius
• Missed shifts must be made up within 2 weeks
• No call or callback required
