Location: Wausau, Wisconsin
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (8-hour shift, flexible)
Hours per Week: 40 hours guaranteed

Job Description

• Work in a fast-paced Interventional Radiology (IR) unit performing a variety of procedures (average 4-6 per day)
• Team includes 1 RN and 2 Radiologic Technologists
• Float to other locations in the central region as needed
• On-call requirements: 1-2 weeknights per week with a 30-minute response time
• Weekend/Holiday rotation: on-call every 4th weekend and holidays as needed
• Scrub colors: any color allowed
• Charting experience with Epic is highly preferred

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Interventional Cath Procedures, Interventional Vascular Procedures, or Interventional Neurology
• Required licenses and certifications:

  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Wisconsin state license
• Preferred experience with:

  • High-quality radiologic exams
  • Interventional medical sonography exams
  • Cone beam CT exams with 3D reconstruction
  • Complex interventional radiology, vascular interventional, and neuro interventional cases

Additional Information

• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility (radius rule)
• Orientation week hours are not guaranteed; regular hours guaranteed except during holidays when the unit is closed
• Eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours; on-call hours count toward this total
• Call back pay applies with a minimum of 2 hours if called back to the facility
• Flu season policy: Travelers declining flu and COVID vaccinations must wear a mask at all times; non-compliance may result in corrective action
