Overview

• 13-week contract
• Morgantown, West Virginia
• 12-hour day shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Unit: 8 EAST - MedSurg (Stepdown & Floor)
• 34 beds
• Ratios: 1:3 for Stepdown; 1:5-6 for Floor

Required Qualifications

• BLS certification
• RN must be proficient in reading and interpreting tele strips
• Must be able to titrate drips
• Unexpired driver’s license copy must be included with submission
• Driver’s license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility
• COVID vaccination required

Schedule Requirements

• Weekend shifts required
• Holiday shifts required

Unit Details

• Common patient type: MedSurg Stepdown
• Tele is present on the unit
• Tele techs post strips each shift
• RT is in-house 24/7
• Vents are on the unit
• Nurse aides are typically present

Floating

• May be pulled to other areas

Submission Notes

• Only one active submission at a time across the WVU system
• Previous perm candidates must have been gone for 2 years
• Previous travelers who were there for 1 full year must have been gone for 2 years
• Travel teams must be submitted together in one email
• Up to 2 candidates per opening may be submitted
