Overview
- 13-week contract
- Location: Peoria, Illinois
- Unit: Electrocardiology RN
- 4 suites/labs
- Average volume: 18–25 cases per day
- Patient population: Cardiac patients, inpatient and outpatient, adult and pediatric
- Shift: Days, 0700–1530, 5 days/week
- No call, standby, or weekend requirement
- No floating requirement
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Cardiology experience within the last year
- 2 years of cardiology experience
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- EKG Interpretation
- Electrophysiology Lab experience

Job Duties
- Supervise stress tests
- Start IVs
- Give cardiac meds during testing
- Review patient history and medications
- Enter information into Case Cart and Epic
- Respond to emergencies
- Assess patients prior to testing
- Collaborate closely with Nuc Med, Echo, PFT Lab, Cardiology fellows, and Cardiologists

- Last four digits of clinician’s SSN
- Clinician’s middle initial
- Requested time off
Additional Notes
- 12 non-billable orientation hours; guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation
- 1 week of orientation in the department
- Local rate applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles
- OSF call-off policy: equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty or need to pay for the shift
- Scrubs: any color, per policy
