Schedule

12-hour day shifts
Every other weekend and every other holiday

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Dakota
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Med Surg (2 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
Surgical Oncology experience
Experience with Epic

Preferred Experience

Surgical oncology experience

Work Setting

Med-surg unit with surgical oncology patients
47-bed department
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 5:1 on days, 6:1 on nights

Responsibilities

Collaborate with physicians and other inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care
Provide nursing care within scope of practice and age/population-specific standards

Unit Details

Floating may be required to other med-surg units on any campus
Uses Epic, AccuDose, bladder scanner, Phillips monitors, and telemetry

Orientation

1 day of lead center training
2 twelve-hour shifts on the unit with a preceptor

Additional Notes

Candidates within 60 miles are not eligible
Candidates within 60 to 80 miles are considered local rate
Must note if the clinician has ever worked for Sanford Health; if so, there must be an end date at least 6 months before submission
Interview times should be provided with submission
Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
Navy blue scrubs are required
