Registered Nurse (PCU Telemetry) - 13-Week Contract

Location: Kearney, Nebraska

Job Details

Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Telemetry
Shift: Days
Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Size: 21 beds
Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 4 patients
Floating Requirements:
- Float to Medical-Surgical unit as needed
- Float to ICU only for PCU patient status
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, if needed
Additional Shifts: Up to 2 extra mandatory shifts every 6 weeks

Required Qualifications

Current Nebraska or multi-state compact RN license
Certifications:
- BLS (AHA or ARC)
- ACLS (AHA or ARC)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Experience:
- PCU/Telemetry experience required
- Experience caring for post-Catheterization Lab patients

Additional Information

This is a traveler-friendly facility with a high volume of cardiac patients
Orientations are held bi-weekly
Start date available: July 27
