Requirements

• Certifications:

  • BLS (AHA)
  • Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years MRI experience preferred
• Prior Travel Experience: Not specified (assumed not required)
• Additional: Must provide traveler radiation badge
• Licensing: Driver’s license must be submitted (radius 60 miles)
• Must be in-state for orientation week (even if modules are remote)

Department & Equipment

• Number of MRI scanners: 3 (GE 3T, GE 1.5T, Siemens 1.5T)
• Imaging Types: General MRI, stroke, trauma
• Average Scans per Day: Approximately 10
• Other Duties: May float/cover outpatient MRI
• IV Start: Yes
• EMR/PACS Systems: EPIC, Fuji Synapse
• Radiologist: In-house
• Registered Radiology Assistants: Not used

This position is suitable for MRI Technologists with at least 2 years of experience who are comfortable working extended shifts early in the week, have required certifications, and can provide a radiation badge.
