Job Opportunity: Sonographer (Vascular Tech)

Location: Redding, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technician specializing as a Vascular Technologist for a travel assignment. The role involves performing an average of 6-7 vascular studies per day using department-specific equipment including Philips Epiq 5. The position requires working with EMR/PACS systems (Cerner and Merge).

Schedule & Work Details

Shift: 10-hour days, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Work Days: Friday through Monday
Weekend work required
Holiday work occasionally required
Call/Standby required with a 30-minute response time, minimum of 2 call nights per week
No self-scheduling available
Scrub color: Teal (scrubs provided)
Department-specific orientation provided
Radiologist available in-house
No IV starts required
No use of Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA)

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Vascular Technologist
Active BLS (AHA) certification
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification via ARDMS
Valid California license for Vascular Technologist
