Job Opportunity: CT Technologist

Location: Lakewood, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Department: Radiology - CT

Job Summary

Seeking a Certified CT Technologist to join the Radiology department. The role involves performing a variety of imaging studies using CT scanners, with an average of 25 scans per day. The position requires working primarily in outpatient settings with some potential floating within the local zone if needed.

Required Qualifications

• Certified CT Technologist (ARRT CT certification required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA)
• Experience with GE and Siemens CT scanners preferred
• Ability to start IVs as part of job duties

Work Environment & Equipment

• Department has 5 CT scanners/rooms
• Imaging systems used include Epic EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS
• Equipment brands: GE, Siemens
• Radiologist available in-house
• No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) support

Scheduling & Work Conditions

• Weekend and holiday work required
• No call or standby responsibilities
• No self-scheduling or block scheduling; shifts are fixed
• Typical shift example: 3 shifts of 12 hours (09:00 - 21:30) if floating is required
• Scrubs provided; black scrub color required
• Department-specific orientation provided; clinicians must be in-state for orientation week

Additional Notes

• Must be able to travel within a 60-mile radius if needed
• May be asked to float to other nearby facilities within the zone during extreme need situations

This position is ideal for CT Technologists with solid experience on GE and Siemens scanners who are comfortable working in a busy outpatient radiology environment with weekend and holiday shifts.
