NICU / Nursery Registered Nurse (RN) - Contract

Location: Opelousas, Louisiana
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM, 36 hours per week

Job Description

  • Provide nursing care in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Nursery setting.
  • This is a night shift position requiring 36 hours per week.
  • Immediate start preferred.

Required Certifications

  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
  • Minimum 2 years of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience, including experience within the last year
  • Nursery nursing experience
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Current certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS)

  • No prior travel experience required.
