Job Opportunity: X-Ray Technologist (Temporary)

Location: Robbinsdale, Minnesota
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Perform quality diagnostic radiological exams on patients of all ages (infants to geriatric) as ordered by providers.
• May perform additional radiological procedures within licensure scope, including EKGs and Dexa bone scans.
• Shifts are mostly 8 hours, 5 days per week (Monday through Sunday), with occasional 12-hour shifts.
• Night shifts are required.
• 10-hour shifts may be scheduled to ensure a 40-hour workweek.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Technologist in radiology.
• Prior travel experience is required.
• ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC).
• Strong OR/surgical skills with C-Arm experience.
• Trauma Level I experience.
• Experience working with all patient populations.
• Must be able to work night shifts.
• Work history documentation and skills checklist current within 1 year, pertinent to specialty, required.
• Two supervisory references with dates of employment required.
• Must be eligible to work in the USA; if not, this must be noted on the profile.
• All Return to Office (RTO) requests must be submitted with application; late requests may not be honored.
• MN DHS Net Study and fingerprinting required for all patient-facing roles.
• Compliance deadline for credential submission is strict (4 pm Wednesday before start date).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with O-Arm imaging.
• Experience with Epic EMR system.

Additional Information

• Agency will provide radiation dosimetry badge for the duration of the assignment.
• Dress code: Hospital-provided scrubs.
• Nonbillable hours: 4 hours.
• Local traveler policy applies for candidates living within 35 miles of the facility.
• Candidates must list prior work history with the health system or associated hospitals on their resume.

• Facility is a Level 1 Trauma center with a Level II pediatric trauma designation.
