Certified Surgical First Assist (CSFA) - Temp Position

Job Description

• Support a full spectrum of surgical procedures including general elective surgeries and critical/life-saving operations.
• Work within a hospital emphasizing cardiology, cancer, orthopedics, and neurosciences specialties.
• Strict attendance policy: 3 strikes for absence or being more than 20 minutes late may result in immediate termination, with exceptions for documented communicable diseases or hospitalizations.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Surgical First Assistant experience, including experience within the last year.
• Certification by NBSTSA or NCCT.

Additional Information

• Hospital provides scrubs as dress code.
• Full-time employees of the hospital system are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.
• Local traveler policy applies: permanent address within 35 miles considered local.
• Nonbillable initial hours and specific overtime/holiday/callback markups apply (pay details excluded).
