Job Opportunity: Mammography Tech

Location: Beaufort, South Carolina

Job Details

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, Days (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
• No call requirements
• Must have mammography skills with breast ultrasound experience
• Experience assisting with biopsies is a plus
• Start Date: ASAP
• Work location within a 50-mile radius

Required Experience

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Mammography Tech)
• Years of Experience: Not explicitly stated; assume minimum experience consistent with Mammography Tech roles (typically 1-2 years)

Certifications & Licenses

• State License verification required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA only (required for Cath Lab, ER/ED, ICU, OR, PACU)
• Other certifications may apply depending on specific duties (e.g., breast ultrasound)

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Proof of I9 or Attestation
• Government issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
• Proof of E-Verify or Attestation
• Background check within 6 months or 30 days of start depending on hire date
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
• Physical exam attesting ability to meet physical demands
• Immunizations and health screenings including:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years or declination)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (titer or vaccinations)
  • Hepatitis B (positive titer or vaccine series)
  • Varicella (titer or vaccinations)
  • Flu seasonal vaccination or declination (for placements starting on or after 9/10/2025)
  • COVID vaccine or declination
• Drug testing (10 panel) within 6 months or 30 days of start depending on hire date
• Facility-specific documents including job description acknowledgment, data access confidentiality, employee health questionnaire, vaccine declination form if applicable
• Completion of Relias Program Modules (~81 modules) prior to first shift and orientation

Additional Requirements

• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
• Performance evaluation if previously completed assignments through any agency
• Skills checklist updated annually for applicable units
• Internal evaluation if worked with the facility for over 2 years
