Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Travel/Contract)

Location: Titusville, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience. This is a travel/contract position requiring inpatient and ER experience. The role includes weekend shifts every other weekend and occasional on-call duties. No float required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT Certification (registry required)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Experience in an inpatient setting

Schedule & Work Conditions

• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• On-call: Yes, sometimes
• Block scheduling: Not guaranteed; depends on facility needs
• Local candidates not accepted (must live more than 30 miles from facility)
• May work with COVID+ patients
• Strict attendance policy: 3 call outs result in termination
• Shift change notices:

  • 48 hours notice refusal may forfeit guaranteed hours
  • 1 week or more notice refusal may result in termination

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License/State ID)
• Background checks including Social Security Trace, Education Verification, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG
• Florida AHCA Level II Fingerprint Clearance (must be on file prior to start)
• Education Verification or transcript/diploma as placeholder
• Physical exam within 6 months of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
• Drug screening (9 panel) within 3 months of start
• COVID vaccination documentation or approved exemption
• Two professional references within 2 years
• Performance evaluation within last year if applicable
• Skills checklist required
• Completion of facility-specific orientation and competency modules prior to start

Additional Certifications (if applicable)

• ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, EFM, NIH Stroke Certification (mostly for nursing/respiratory roles, not required for CT Tech)

Notes

• Candidates must complete facility-specific job description and orientation documents.
• Facility requires acknowledgment and signing of various policies including confidentiality, vaccination declination, tobacco-free policy, and timecard expectations.
• Fit testing for masks will be completed onsite during the first week.
• Candidates must be prepared to comply with all facility-specific training and documentation requirements prior to start.
