Job Details

Schedule: Days, Monday to Friday
Hours: 8-10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Shift Start: No earlier than 7:30 AM
Shift End: No later than 6:00 PM
Patient Population: Pediatric outpatient with a wide variety of diagnoses
Required Skills: Acute care, outpatient clinic, pediatrics
EPIC experience preferred
Candidate’s primary residence must be more than 25 miles from the facility

Background & Compliance Requirements

Immunizations and Titers:
- Tdap vaccination required (no religious declination accepted)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray per MN state guidelines
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) positive titer or 2 vaccines required
- Varicella positive titer or 2 vaccines required
- Hepatitis B vaccination, positive titer, or declination accepted
- Seasonal flu vaccination or declination (mask required if declined)

Additional Requirements

Two references from recent employers within 2 years (required for non-clinical roles)
Skills checklist required for all clinical candidates
Completion of facility-specific education modules during orientation (approx. 16 hours)
Photo for badge with specific requirements (grey background, no selfies, JPG format)
Dress code adherence (RRTs wear light gray scrubs; others to review dress code)
Confidentiality agreement must be signed prior to start
Candidates must return badges on last day of assignment

Notes

Candidates must complete the Minnesota DHS Net Study Questionnaire immediately after signing the contract to initiate fingerprinting clearance.
Fingerprinting must be completed within 2 weeks of registration.
Candidates may need to travel to a location offering livescan fingerprinting if not within driving distance.
Facility does not require annual background check updates unless there is a gap of 30+ days between contracts.
Education verification required for all candidates except CNAs.
CEUs and competency exams may be required as applicable by profession.
