Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Travel/Contract)

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in Radiology / Cardiology specialty
No explicit requirement for prior travel experience

Certifications Required

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support): Required for all RNs prior to start; must be current throughout assignment
BLS (Basic Life Support): Required for all candidates
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support): Required for ER, ICU, OR (if applicable)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure): Required for Labor & Delivery (if applicable)
EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring): Required for all Labor & Delivery staff; must be updated every 2 years
State License: Primary source verification required
NURSYS Verification: Required for all RNs
Other certifications may be required or preferred depending on specific role (e.g., STABLE for L&D, tech certifications for surgical techs)

Background and Compliance Requirements

7-year criminal background check within one year of start, updated annually
EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated for contract renewals
Education verification required (diploma acceptable if education cannot be verified)
Drug screening: 9-panel drug test within last 12 months (instant acceptable)
Physical exam: Initial and updated annually, attesting ability to meet physical demands
Immunizations and health documents required:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 4 weeks of start
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (positive titer, vaccines, or declination)
- Hepatitis B (titer, vaccine series, or declination)
