Registered Nurse - Infusion RN (Oncology)

Location: Santa Monica, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 26 weeks


Job Description

  • Role focused on infusion nursing with experience in chemotherapy administration.
  • Administer chemotherapy and IV therapy for oncology patients.
  • Preferred experience caring for patients with a wide range of cancer diagnoses.
  • Work hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, no call required.
  • Occasional overtime may be needed if treatment complications arise.
  • Locals and true travelers are both accepted.
  • Must commit to the full 26-week contract.
  • Parking provided in an attached garage.
  • Candidates should consider commute times during peak hours; early departure due to traffic will not be approved.

Requirements

  • Certifications: ONCC (Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation) or ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) certification required.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Oncology/Infusion nursing.
  • First-time travelers: Accepted.
  • Weekend shifts: Not required.
  • On-call: Not required.
  • Floating: No floating between units required.
  • State License: Must have an active state license; pending licenses are not accepted.

  • Outpatient Cancer Center.
  • Electronic charting system: EPIC.

  • Prior travel experience is not required.
