Registered Nurse - Infusion Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Moorestown, New Jersey
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Infusion nurse position at a cancer care facility.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (start and end times may vary depending on patient needs).
• Includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
• Start date: January.

Required Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• BLS (Basic Life Support), preferably from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), preferably from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• State nursing license verification (primary source online verification).

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID).
• Emergency Contact Form (required prior to start).
• Background checks including:

  • Standard 7-year search of locations lived/worked/school.
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM (annual).
  • HHS/OIG (annual).
• Competency exams as applicable (Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam and general Competency Exam).
• Physical exam within 1 year of start.
• Negative TB test (PPD, Quantiferon Gold, or T-spot) within 1 year of start; if past positive, negative chest x-ray within 1 year.
• Immunizations or proof of immunity for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, declination, or vaccine series)
  • Varicella (titer, 2 vaccines, or history of chickenpox)
• 9 Panel Drug Screen within 1 year of start (instant drug screen acceptable).
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination during flu season (10/1 - 3/31).
