Contract

Travel/contract
13 weeks
Night shift, 4x12 hours: 18:45–07:15
36 or 48 hours per week may be offered
Every other weekend required
Floating required to other med/surg units/floors
No blocked scheduling
RTO after booking is not allowed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
1 year or more of total travel experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
IV Certification
Must pass EKG testing prior to start
Must pass the dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam within 72 hours of the first attempt

Preferred Qualifications

Telemetry experience preferred

Unit Details

Fast-paced med/surg telemetry unit
Typical patient ratio is 1:6, with occasional 1:7
Patient population includes GI conditions, GI-related blood loss/anemia, infections, renal patients, and post-GI surgery patients
10 telemetry beds for cardiac rhythm monitoring
