Overview

Travel/Contract role in Overland Park, Kansas
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
36 hours per week
Ratios: 1:4
First-time travelers accepted
Non-trauma Emergency Department
Primary Stroke & STEMI Center
Typical ED patient diagnoses, with occasional OB patients; may require management of mother/baby until transferred out

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kansas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
NIHSS
8 weekend shifts in the 6-week schedule period, with a combination of Friday/Saturday/Sunday
Regular floating may be required between ED Hold area, departments, units, and facilities as needed
No more than 7 days of requested time off
Home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
Pending license not accepted

Central line care/management
Continuous IV sedation
