Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Oncology (1 year of experience)
- Oncology experience within the last year
- Experience in an inpatient setting
- Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (MS/Tele) experience
- Bone Marrow Transplant experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ONS/ONCC
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Required Skills
- Medical-surgical/telemetry care
- Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Rapid response team use
- Feeding tube care and management
- Blood product administration
- Central line blood draw and sterile dressing changes
- Peripheral line care and management
- PICC line management
- Nasal cannula administration
- Chemotherapy administration
Unit Details
- Mixed acuity PCU and medical-surgical unit
- Oncology / BMT setting
- Autologous, syngeneic, and allogeneic transplant patients
- CAR-T therapy patients
Additional Compliance Items
- Emergency contact form required
- 7-year criminal background check required within 90 days of start
- Ohio BCI/FBI fingerprinting required within 1 year of start
- Pending background check attestation required if fingerprint results are pending
- Fraud, waste, and abuse training certificate required before start and annually
- Ethics and compliance policies must be reviewed and signed annually
- Physical exam required within 1 year of start
- Tdap required
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray required within 1 year of start
- MMR immunity required
- Hepatitis B immunity or declination required

Units are nice, staff are kind. Single patient rooms with 4:1 ratios day and night on med surg.
Cons
Scheduled every weekend, floated for the first 6 weeks of contract every shift. Not traveler friendly even though they say they are. Staff are treated well not travelers.
