Medical Surgical RN Travel Contract

Required Qualifications

• Passport in hand required
• Must have Compact or Guam RN licensure in hand at time of submittal
• Does not accept local candidates who reside in Guam
• Does not allow pending license

Schedule Expectations

• No shift preference can be requested
• Every other weekend required
• Holidays required
• RTO is limited to no more than 3 consecutive days and no more than 7 days total in the full contract
• No RTO approved for June
• Overtime is not guaranteed and is at management discretion
• Block scheduling is dependent on unit needs

• ACLS
• BLS
• Pass/fail onsite testing for drug calculations and BKAT
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
• NIH Stroke Scale Training certificate
• NDNQI Pressure Injury Training certificate
• Alaris IV Pumps certificate
• Pyxis CareFusion certificate
• Conscious sedation training
• ESI Pediatrics 2.0 training
• Emergency Severity Index training
• Flu/COVID vaccine documentation or approved exemption as applicable
• Negative TB screening or chest X-ray
• Fit mask test
• Physical exam
• Drug screen
• Required references and work history verification

Work Environment

• Acute care facility
• Adult Trauma II
• 132 staffed beds

Additional Notes

• Travelers are scheduled through the last day of the contract and should not book return flights early
• Flights are not reimbursed
• Travelers should be prepared to pick up additional shifts due to census
• Scrub color: any solid color; navy blue preferred; jacket any color
• Cath Lab/OR/PACU scrubs are provided
• Parking is free
