Registered Nurse — ER

Overview

Travel/contract role in Columbia, Missouri
Night shift: 4x12 hours, 18:45–07:15
13-week contract
Float assignment between ED and ED Obs
Level 1 trauma, stroke, and STEMI emergency department
Peds ED is inside the ED; pediatric and Level 1 trauma experience are strongly preferred
No locals within 50 miles

Schedule

Alternating weekends and holidays
50% of holidays and every other weekend required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
Trauma experience
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NURSYS verification within 60 days of start
TNCC
First-time travelers accepted if they have Level 1 trauma experience

Preferred Qualifications

Additional Requirements

Ability to work assigned weekends, at least 50% of holidays, and take call
Ability to work throughout the full contractual engagement
Ability to ambulate, reach, and move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs
Background check, drug screen, and health/documentation clearances are required before start
